It was reported that Wu Zhenxi, Director of the Asia-Pacific Bureau of the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will lead the ROK delegation, which also includes 12 staff members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who are interested in China. During their visit to China, the ROK delegation will exchange with Chinese diplomats and meet with local government officials in China, as well as visit the China-ROK (Yancheng) Industrial Park, among other places.

It was reported that the Sino-ROK Young Diplomats Exchange Program is a mutual visit and exchange project for diplomats facilitated by an agreement reached between the two countries in 2011. This is the first time the program has resumed after seven years.
