Support for Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte both declined!
A public opinion survey released by the Philippine think tank Stratbase on Wednesday showed that public trust in President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte continued to decline together.
The trust level of President Marcos dropped from 48% in June to 43%, while Vice President Sara Duterte's trust level fell even more significantly, from 61% to 53%, a drop of 8%.
Victor Andres Mansholt, president of the Stratbase Group, said: "These results reflect a shift in public sentiment. Filipinos are re-evaluating their confidence in the country's top leaders. Both have experienced a decline in trust, although the vice president's decline is more significant."
"When people see decisive and transparent actions on issues that affect their daily lives, confidence follows. When they do not act in this way, it is eroded — regardless of how popular the leader once was. This reflects the growing maturity of the public, who now evaluate leaders more based on performance than personality."
