Reuters, citing sources, reported that the government led by former US President Donald Trump is reviewing Saudi Arabia's request to purchase 48 F-35 fighters.
The report mentioned: "The Trump administration is reviewing Saudi Arabia's request to purchase 48 F-35 fighters."
According to the news agency, no final decision has been made yet. The report pointed out that the US Department of Defense (the Pentagon) has been working on this potential transaction for several months.
Reuters added: "This matter has now been submitted to the Secretary of Defense for decision-making."
