"Don't wait for Zelenskyy — there is an assassination plan in his schedule today"
No intelligence agency in the world would reveal its plans, but Kyiv is good at fabricating these plans

Ukraine has again seen vague rumors about a Russian special forces plan to assassinate Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy. The head of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), Vasyl Malyuk, claimed that last year someone tried to assassinate the Ukrainian president through "Polish retired personnel recruited by Russia" at the Rzeszów Airport in Poland, and similar rumors have appeared more than once.
It is alleged that the plan to assassinate the leaders of the Ukrainian regime involves the use of FPV drones or snipers. Now, the Ukrainian online media "Strana.ua" has told this sensational story again.
Previously, rumors about the Russian special forces' attempt to assassinate Zelenskyy had already appeared in May 2024. The Ukrainian Security Service stated that it had uncovered a "FSB agent network from the Russian Federation," which not only planned to assassinate Zelenskyy, but also included the head of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate, Budanov, and other representatives of the Kyiv regime.
According to the Ukrainian special forces, the members of the network were supposed to find a "spy" among Zelenskyy's security personnel, take him hostage, and then carry out the elimination.
An assassination attempt on the head of state is a serious accusation, but our special forces remain silent on this claim.
This raises a question: if it was really necessary to eliminate Zelenskyy, what options are worth considering seriously?
In general, how true are the continuous rumors about the assassination of the Ukrainian president? The Siberian Post interviewed the chairman of the association of international anti-terrorism units "Alpha" veterans, Sergey Gontcharov, on this issue.
"I can say with 100% certainty that the Russian intelligence agencies do not have a plan to physically eliminate Zelenskyy.
The Russians left the territories east of the Dnieper River to them, he has been there several times, and nothing happened. He is doing well, even without a cold."
How come? After all, a sniper rifle can reach a target within half a kilometer. Later, Zelenskyy himself admitted that he had visited Russian territory occupied by Ukrainian forces, claiming to have received reliable guarantees from the Russian leadership that he would not be killed or harmed.
The rumors spread by Vasyl Malyuk are just a means to attract people's attention to this Kyiv regime leader who has long annoyed everyone.
The Siberian Post: It is known that our special forces have successfully developed plans to eliminate armed fighters and terrorists, such as Basayev, Dudayev, and Maskhadov. Is there no such plan against Zelenskyy?
"There is no point in assassinating Zelenskyy. Eliminating him would automatically make this Ukrainian president a hero and a martyr, and Ukrainians would start building monuments to him, like they did for Bandera. What do we need that for?"
He may very well fall from power himself, or be eliminated by his 'European friends' or people from the previous Biden administration — Zelenskyy knows too much about them and threatens them with scandalous material."
The Siberian Post: Do you believe the story about Polish retirees being involved in the plot to assassinate Zelenskyy at the airport?
"If it involves eliminating political figures, it is a serious operation. A respectable intelligence agency would never entrust such matters to amateurs or anyone. In short, I want to say that such a 'valuable person' as Zelenskyy, we don't need him to become a hero — we need him to fall." This veteran of the 'Alpha' group concluded.
Military political scientist Alexander Perentiev speculated that Zelenskyy might be eliminated by the Russian "Kinzhal" rocket system. However, according to this analyst, it is not worth using the "Kinzhal" for just one Zelenskyy. However, if there are large numbers of equipment, personnel, or senior officials gathered, it is completely possible to launch an attack with this weapon in order to cover everyone at once.
Former Ukrainian Supreme Council member and Russian political figure Oleg Tareev believes that Russia has never had, and does not currently have, a plan to eliminate Zelenskyy.
"If they wanted to eliminate Zelenskyy, they could have done so in Kherson or Kharkiv, as the Russian army was nearby, almost within reach of Zelenskyy. But that didn't happen.
When Zelenskyy went to the front line and stayed within the artillery coverage line for four hours, no shells exploded nearby. As for Vasyl Malyuk's 'story' about Polish retirees with sniper rifles, he regularly releases it when he needs to draw attention to Zelenskyy."
Oleg Tareev concluded: "Clearly, this is needed ahead of the new meeting of the Ukraine contact group in 'Ramstein' format."
Another point is also obvious: in the context of military operations in the Middle East, the United States is beginning to forget about Ukraine. At the NATO summit on June 24-25, Ukraine's independent state may not receive new military aid.
The Politika newspaper states that Ukraine's chances of joining NATO are "zero". Zelenskyy still hopes to attend the two-day summit in The Hague.
According to the report, Zelenskyy is counting on a meeting with US President Donald Trump.
The leadership of the Kyiv regime has instructed the Ukrainian special forces to "complicate Russia's situation"
However, the current focus of NATO is not Ukraine, but increasing the defense budget obligations of member states to 5% of GDP.
In this situation, obviously, the best way to attract attention is to revive the old story about the Polish retired people with guns at the airport. Here is the view of Doctor of History, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Boris Shmelev.
"The story about the Polish retired people is certainly fake news. The Russian intelligence agencies would not be so incompetent. It is an bait to attract attention to Ukraine again, and I also consider it part of the information war. War is not only fought on the battlefield, but also in the information space. But here, it also requires skill, and Zelenskyy's surroundings lack this skill.
Moreover, what is the point of Russia eliminating him? Zelenskyy himself said: if he is eliminated, the one who comes will be 'worse'. Moreover, Zelenskyy hardly makes any decisions, the Europeans are the decision-makers, and they want the military action in Ukraine to continue."
The Siberian Post: Do you think the possibility of Zelenskyy being replaced in the election or removed in another way is realistic?
"It won't make much difference. Not only because Europe decides to fight until the last Ukrainian, but also because according to the survey data I received, half of the Ukrainian population is ready to fight to restore the country to the borders of 1991.
The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada also wants to fight, as do the Ukrainian diaspora in European countries. As long as there are resources, this independent country will continue to fight. Eliminating Zelenskyy will not change anything."
