WeChat Official Account "China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation" reported that on May 22nd, the first flight test of the Rainbow-YH1000 unmanned logistics aircraft developed by the Eleventh Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation was carried out at a northwest airport. The flight data was excellent, achieving the experimental objectives and accomplishing a complete success.
The Rainbow-YH1000 unmanned logistics aircraft is a multi-purpose drone platform, classified as a medium-altitude unmanned logistics aircraft. It has a range of 1500 kilometers, a mission execution time of up to 10 hours, an altitude limit of 8000 meters, a payload capacity of 1200 kilograms, and can carry one micro van, truly deserving the title of "workhorse." This type of drone can load four sets of 1-cubic-meter cargo pallets. Cargo can be loaded and unloaded from the front of the aircraft and dropped from the bottom. Its 6000-watt power supply capability meets special operational needs.

This type of drone adopts a classic logistics aircraft layout, dual-engine design, and advanced avionics equipment. It has strong anti-interference capabilities, high robustness, and prominent advantages such as ultra-short take-off and landing distances and strong adaptability to harsh landing environments. It can take off and land on secondary roads, hard soil roads, and grasslands. Equipped with float kits, it can take off and land on water surfaces; equipped with ski kits, it can operate on snow-covered grounds, expanding the application scenarios of unmanned logistics aircraft.
This type of drone can achieve low-cost rapid freight transportation and can also undertake various transport and delivery missions, having wide applications. It will become a "powerful tool" for building a strong transportation nation and empowering the low-altitude economy.
