Han media: Geely Auto's overseas sales surged 121% in January!

On March 15, the South Korean media "JoongAng Daily" published an article stating that Geely Auto Group recently announced that the global passenger car sales in January reached 271,670 units, an increase of 1% year-on-year and 14% month-on-month.

Overseas market growth was significant. Excluding the Chinese market, overseas sales reached 60,506 units, an increase of 121% year-on-year and 50% month-on-month.

All brands saw increased sales. Zeekr led the way with sales of 23,852 units, an increase of 99.7%. Zeekr officially launched its premium electric travel vehicle "7GT" in 12 European countries including Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland in January, further expanding its market coverage.

Geely brand sold 82,990 units in January, while the Lynk & Co brand sold 28,877 units, an increase of 12%. The Lynk & Co brand has accumulated more than 1.71 million sales worldwide.

Geely Holding Group's goal is to achieve a total sales volume of over 6.5 million passenger cars and commercial vehicles by 2030, sales exceeding 1 trillion yuan, with new energy vehicles accounting for 75%, and increasing the share of markets outside China by more than one-third.

A relevant person from Geely Auto Group said, "This achievement is due to Geely Holding Group's 'One Geely' strategy, which covers Geely, Lynk & Co, as well as global brands such as Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus. We have set a sales target of 3.45 million units for 2026, and plan to sell 640,000 units in overseas markets."
