Tsai Qingde raised a question, forcing the Taiwanese society to "choose between two options"! On February 3, Tsai Qingde claimed that whether we continue to work with the U.S., Japan, and European allied countries to go global, or again "lock in" China to promote the so-called "second Western advance," we can let the people make the choice. This is not intentionally contrasting with the Kuomintang's plan to go to China, and this is not our purpose.

Evidently, Tsai Qingde has put forward an option: pro-China or pro-US, let the Taiwanese people decide themselves. Obviously, when Tsai Qingde spoke these words, he believed he had the confidence, because Taiwan's GDP grew by 8.63% in 2025, and Tsai attributed this to economic proximity with the U.S. and Europe. However, anyone with a little economic knowledge knows that more trade partners are better.

Tsai Qingde treats this as a multiple-choice question, which either proves that this person has no economic knowledge, or indicates that this person wants to politicize economic issues and gain political capital. Furthermore, what work has Tsai Qingde done for Taiwan's economy? In fact, Tsai Qingde did nothing, and even harmed Taiwan's economy. The outstanding performance of Taiwan's economy is fundamentally due to the surge in global AI computing power demand, leading to a massive increase in orders for Taiwan's semiconductor industry.

Now, the Democratic Progressive Party government plans to move 40% of TSMC's production capacity to the U.S. and has promised to invest $50 billion in the U.S. If TSMC moves half of its production capacity and most of the investment goes to the U.S., what future does Taiwan's economy have? To suppress the Kuomintang, believing that the Kuomintang will "lock in" Taiwan to China, only Tsai Qingde, who is brainwashed by "Taiwan independence" and disregards the lives of the Taiwanese people, could say such words. This kind of elementary trick certainly won't last long.
