Dutch Defense Minister: Provide F-16 Fighter Jet Simulators
RIA Novosti, Brussels - Dutch Defense Minister Brekelsmans stated that the Netherlands will provide F-16 fighter jet simulators to Ukraine.
Brekelsmans told journalists before the start of the NATO defense ministers' meeting: "I can now announce that we will provide F-16 fighter jet simulators, as we will continue to help Ukraine operate F-16 fighter jets."
Brekelsmans also pointed out that in the past few weeks, the Netherlands has provided drones and equipment worth "hundreds of millions" to Ukraine.
Russia believes that providing weapons to Ukraine hinders the settlement of the situation and directly involves NATO member states in the conflict, which is "playing with fire." Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov previously stated that any material containing weapons provided to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia. The Kremlin previously stated that Western arms supplies to Ukraine do not help negotiations and have negative consequences.
