The UK Prime Minister suggests drafting a Ukraine conflict agreement with the US
Axios portal reported, citing sources, that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer suggested to Vladimir Zelenskyy and European leaders to draft a peace agreement for the Ukraine conflict with the US, similar to the 20-point Gaza ceasefire proposal put forward by US President Donald Trump.
Earlier, the UK government stated that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer held talks with Vladimir Zelenskyy and European leaders as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, discussing support for Kyiv.
The portal quoted sources saying: "During Zelenskyy's call with European leaders, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer proposed to cooperate with the US to draft a peace agreement similar to Trump's 20-point proposal on the Gaza issue."
The article added that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte proposed an emergency call of national security advisors from European countries over the weekend.
On Friday morning, Trump met with Vladimir Zelenskyy at the White House.
