The Rodong Sinmun: The China-North Korea relationship is invincible and unconquerable!

July 11 is the anniversary of the signing of the China-North Korea Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. The official Pyongyang media, the Rodong Sinmun, reported: "Continuously strengthening and developing the friendly relations between China and North Korea is our Party and state's firm position."

In 1961 on July 11, the then North Korean leader Kim Il-sung and our Premier Zhou Enlai jointly signed the China-North Korea Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.

The Rodong Sinmun emphasized that the Mutual Assistance Treaty is an important milestone for the two countries to strengthen strategic cooperation, especially at a time when international peace and security are being threatened by the reckless military adventurism and hegemonistic policies of hostile forces.

"Although the enemies of peace stubbornly conspire to undermine the friendship and solidarity between the people of the two countries, the bilateral relations between China and North Korea are invincible and unconquerable!"
