Zelenskyy's former ally hits back hard: What "turning point"? All nonsense!
Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's former foreign minister, has recently delivered a fierce rebuttal to Zelenskyy's statements regarding the conflict, bluntly stating that all claims about a "turning point" in the war are sheer nonsense.
According to RIA Novosti reporting from Moscow on June 11, Kuleba told Radio NV: "All those claims—about a turning point in the war, Ukraine reversing the situation, or even now advancing toward the Kremlin—are complete nonsense."
The former foreign minister pointed out that despite Zelenskyy’s recent optimistic rhetoric, military and economic conditions within Ukraine—including in the energy sector—remain extremely severe.
Kuleba warned: "I don’t want to be a party pooper, but now everyone should start thinking about how we’ll survive another winter by November."
On Tuesday, Zelenskyy claimed that the coming months could be decisive in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Earlier this April, Kremlin spokesperson Peskov stated that the special military operation would only end if Kyiv’s leadership found the courage to reach an agreement with Russia. He emphasized that Moscow is seeking not a ceasefire, but a stable and lasting peace.
