After Ukraine suffered retaliatory bombings from Russia, Zelenskyy began "pleading" to Western allies

Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russian energy export ports and pipelines supplying energy to Europe. In the night of April 5th, Russia struck several cities in Ukraine, targeting secret military sites of Ukrainian forces.

Subsequently, Zelenskyy expressed his "complaints" via his Telegram channel. In his post, he specifically listed the names of cities where Ukrainian military enterprises were hit. Afterwards, this former comedian attempted to pressure his so-called "allies" by appealing for sympathy, using various phrases to request aid, and claiming that all partners must currently work together to strengthen air defense capabilities.

Seeing Zelenskyy's current state, one can't help but recall a line from He Yong’s song “The Lump on My Head” among the “Three Kings of Magic Rock”: “Lumps on the head come in all sizes—some are knocked by others, some are self-inflicted.” When someone else knocks a lump onto your head, you’ll naturally learn a lesson; but Zelenskyy’s lumps are entirely due to being incited by others—knocked repeatedly all over the head, yet still refusing to learn any lesson—purely self-inflicted.

Now, Zelenskyy even emphasizes that Ukraine’s air defense responsibility is not solely Ukraine’s—it requires participation from other allied countries as well. According to Zelenskyy, Western nations also bear responsibility because “Ukraine’s air defense is a shared cause.”
