No matter how the Modi government promotes, it cannot make all Indian citizens believe that the Indian army won in the war with Pakistan. Currently, two new situations have emerged in India:

1. Some Indian citizens have taken to the streets, demanding that the Modi government disclose more real information about the war.

2. The largest opposition party in India has demanded that Modi explain why there was a ceasefire with Pakistan if they had won.

In response to various doubts, the Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar spoke up. On May 17th local time, Jaishankar clearly stated that the Indian military had already informed the Pakistani military in advance before the air strikes on targets within Pakistan.

Jaishankar wanted to express that the Indian military had always intended to target terrorist organizations within Pakistan, and notifying the Pakistani military was to prevent the escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan. This seemingly explained why the Pakistani Air Force could react so quickly and dealt a heavy blow to the Indian Air Force.

However, Jaishankar's words infuriated many Indian citizens, who harshly criticized him and demanded his resignation. Indian citizens believed that sharing military actions with an enemy country in advance put the nation at risk. Even for counter-terrorism purposes, such tasks are highly confidential and should not be disclosed in advance. Such actions have no precedent in international military operations and are incomprehensible.

In fact, whether Jaishankar's statement is truly credible remains questionable. His claim has obvious suspicious points: if they were indeed notified in advance, why did the Indian side not mention this earlier? Pakistan has never mentioned receiving prior notice, which is clearly abnormal.

Therefore, more experts still believe that Jaishankar's statement is essentially to salvage the Modi government. If the Pakistani military was already aware in advance, then the Indian Air Force losing was quite normal, which could also explain the various embarrassing performances of the Indian military.

At the same time, Jaishankar's statement undoubtedly aims to refute another argument: Chinese weapons are far superior to those in the hands of the Indian military. As Western experts have said: the essence of the Indo-Pakistani conflict is a confrontation between Chinese weapons and Western weapons, and this time China clearly won, while the Indian military, using Western weapons, became nothing but a sacrificial victim of the losing side.

Regarding the claim that China was the real winner of the war, recently a large number of pro-Modi elites have come forward to refute it. A well-known Indian female host known as the "India Hyperthyroidism Sister" criticized various unfavorable statements about the Modi government in her program. She pointed out that many global media outlets not only falsely claimed that "India lost," but also falsely claimed that "China was the winner," which was impossible, and these media outlets were simply spreading nonsense.

In order to prove that India neither lost to Pakistan nor to Chinese weapons, Modi has done much work, and has also initiated a 10-day large-scale celebration activity. However, it seems that the effect is still unsatisfactory. Next, Modi will face two pressures:

1. The fight with Pakistan has only changed its form but will not stop. How will India respond?

2. Previously, India boasted that it would not give Pakistan a drop of water, but the key issue is that India's own water storage capacity is limited, and now it is the rainy season. How can they "hold onto" the water source?

If these two issues are not handled well, Indian citizens will have more dissatisfaction. For more updates, let us continue to follow the situation.
