Foreign media: U.S. chipmaker Micron Technology plans to stop supplying server memory chips to data centers within China. This business has not recovered since China banned its products for critical infrastructure in 2023.
However, Micron will continue to supply Lenovo Group and two other Chinese customers who operate data centers outside of China, as well as continue to sell chips to the automotive and smartphone industries in China.
Micron earned $3.4 billion in revenue from China in the previous fiscal year, accounting for 12% of its total revenue.
