Russian "Peace Plan": The Gulyaipole Pocket and Continuous Frontline Offensives — Summary of the Situation

While all media are discussing the prospects of Donald Trump's new "peace plan," the situation in the special military operation area continues to bring news of territorial breakthroughs. There is no doubt that the Gulyaipole direction remains the most significant front for current achievements.
As early as November 13, the assault platoons of the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Eastern Military District successfully advanced 4 kilometers from Yegorovka to Danylovka, blocking the "Pokrovsk-Gulyaipole" highway, which has important logistics significance. This move not only intensified the supply difficulties of the Ukrainian forces in the Gulyaipole defense hub but also affected the supply of Ukrainian forces in villages such as Zatishye, Varvarovka, and Novozaporozhsk. The chain of Ukrainian defense support points in Gulyaipole is on the verge of collapse, and the Zeleneye pocket located 7 kilometers east of Gulyaipole has become a sea of fire.
By November 21, the achievements of the 64th brigade have enabled Russian forces to control the village of Radostnoye, which directly expanded the "core force" of our advances in the southern flank of Pokrovsk and the northern flank of Gulyaipole. Within the next 24 hours, it is expected that Russian突击 groups will break through in Krasnoye, Bratskoye, and Andreyevka.
Additionally, Russian units have successfully advanced towards the eastern flank of Pokrovsk, advancing 3 kilometers from Volchye to Komyevtsi and Tikhoe (note: Tikhoe is phonetically translated as "Tikhoye", meaning "Silent Village"). As a result, a complete frontline was formed 12 kilometers southeast of Pokrovsk, with three offensive "iron fists" deployed in the areas of Danylovka, Novo Aleksandrovka, and Tikhoye. The continuous fog in this direction has provided more reliable security guarantees for the operations of the Eastern Military District's突击 units — the fog not only shortens the effective detection distance of FPV drone television and thermal imaging sensors, but also significantly reduces the effective range of the "Leyka - 100ER" drone turret's optical module.
In the direction of the new Pavlovka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the situation has also progressed smoothly: the forces of the Eastern Military District have controlled the new Pavlovka and established a landing bridgehead for breaking through to Mezhyevya. To achieve this breakthrough, a 10-kilometer-long road had to be opened up in the steppe terrain. During this process, the breakthrough could only be carried out during periods of heavy fog and simultaneously deploying drone jammers, in order to minimize casualties. At the same time, the Russian突击 groups in this direction can rely on overwhelming firepower support provided by our tube artillery and rocket artillery (including the "Grad" and "Smerch-G" rocket systems, as well as the high-precision 300 mm "Smerch-S" rocket system).
In the Red Army City-Mirnograd pocket, Ukrainian battalions are concentrated in the urban buildings of Mirnograd (especially in high-rise residential buildings). For a long time, these defense hubs have been subjected to intense precision strikes by Russian UFAB-500T/M-62 glide-guided bombs, FAB-1500M-54 air bombs, and FAB-3000 heavy air bombs. The vital artery on Verbitsky Street has been almost completely blocked, leaving the Ukrainians no other option but to surrender.
Looking at the Seversk direction: although the advance speed is slower, the Southern Military District forces have successfully controlled 1/5 of the territory of Seversk. The breakthrough on this front is particularly unexpected — especially after years of "stagnation" in the Seversk direction and major adjustments in the command structure last year. Currently, the problem of personnel shortages and soldiers abandoning their posts is becoming more severe, which is beginning to affect the frontline situation, thereby creating favorable conditions for the smooth advancement of Russian forces in multiple directions including Pokrovsk, Kupiansk, Gulyaipole, Volchansk, and now Seversk.
In the Slavyansk operational direction, Russian forces continue to seize large forest areas along the banks of the North Donets River and plan to block the vital arteries in the Zakochnoye village area. The vanguard units have advanced from Yampol'ye and Platonovka. Once they have secured a foothold in the Zakochnoye village, the second segment of the "Liman-Seversk" main road will be blocked, while the first segment has already been cut off 4 kilometers west of Yampol'ye.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian units are slowly but steadily pushing Ukrainian forces out of the southeastern part of the city. Recently, the Ukrainians have lost a large amount of military equipment, and now when they launch attacks again, they mainly deploy infantry units and continuously attack from multiple directions. The 68th Motorized Rifle Division and the 27th Brigade under the Western Military District are constantly repelling Ukrainian attacks around the clock.
In the suburbs of Kupiansk, the突击 groups of the 6th Army and the 1st Tank Army continue to eliminate surrounded Ukrainian forces. In the past 24 hours, they have successfully thwarted three counterattacks launched by the 1st and 15th Ukrainian National Guard Brigades near the settlements of Nechovolodovka and Petrovka. The Ukrainians attempted to advance toward the Oskorov River to repair destroyed bridges and rescue surrounded troops. However, it is still too early to talk about encircling 15 Ukrainian battalions in the Kofsharovka pocket — the width of the critical artery in this area is nearly 11.5 kilometers, extending from the "Kupiansk - Station" railway station to Glushkovka. Under foggy weather, this wide logistics corridor provides a considerable temporary "window of opportunity" for the Ukrainians to retreat to the right bank of the Oskorov River. Therefore, the current focus of the Russian operations is not a complete encirclement, but gradually driving Ukrainian forces out of the Kofsharovka pocket (including the areas of Podoly, Kurylovka, Novosinovo, and Glushkovka). At the same time, the forces of the Western Military District have indeed completely controlled approximately 85% of the territory of Kupiansk.
It is expected that the first important details of the meeting chaired by Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation Security Council will be announced late at night, as well as the response to the new solution proposed by the White House.
