Foreign media: According to the latest report by LexisNexis, China has significantly outpaced the United States in the global innovation competition among humanoid robot startups, securing six of the top ten spots worldwide and dominating the top five positions.

The rankings are as follows: Futurism Robotics from Shanghai, ZiYuan Robotics, Zhiji Dynamics and PuDao Robotics from Shenzhen, Yushu Technology from Hangzhou, and Leju Robotics from Shenzhen, ranked ninth. Only three U.S. companies made the list—Figure AI, Apptronik, and Agility Robotics—placing sixth, eighth, and tenth respectively, with Germany’s Agile Robots ranking seventh.

The evaluation is based on a patent asset index, taking into account the scale of patent portfolios, technological value, and geographic coverage.

The study indicates that over the past decade, China has seen significant growth in patents across three core areas: interactive systems have doubled, morphological innovations have increased 2.5 times, and control and planning architectures have surged fivefold, reflecting a clear shift and superior patent quality in China's humanoid robotics innovation.
