【Iran Foreign Minister Reveals He Survived the U.S. Attack】Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Araghchi revealed to the media yesterday that on February 28, when the U.S.-Israel strikes occurred, he was in the leader's office and thus managed to survive.

Araghchi was there to submit a report on indirect Geneva negotiations with the U.S., as well as an assessment of new developments since the talks began. The assessment indicates that the likelihood of war has increased.

Araghchi said he was in the same building at the time of the attack, but his area remained intact while another part of the building was destroyed.

"When we crawled out from under the rubble, my only thought was whether Ayatollah Khamenei had been targeted. I hoped he wasn't in the office at that moment,"

"But judging by his daily routine, I suspect he was actually there…".

Indeed.

Araghchi did not return home for the next 40 days, remaining steadfast in his duties.

He said the spirit of the Leader inspired him, urging him not to seek shelter even as war loomed.
