Has all of Pakistan's artillery ammunition been taken by Ukraine? Ammunition stock can only last for 4 days, and Indian intelligence has announced a significant discovery.
The Indian intelligence agency has come under scrutiny for leaking classified documents, leading to adjustments in the upper echelons. They must deliver some results to prove themselves. Indeed, the Indian intelligence agency released a major intelligence report about Pakistan. The Indian Defense Intelligence Network recently disclosed that Pakistan's military ammunition reserves have fallen to a dangerous level, sufficient for only four days of high-intensity combat. The Indian intelligence agency pointed out that Pakistan's reserve ammunition has been secretly sold to Ukraine.
India claims that Europe purchased millions of rounds of artillery shells, rockets, mortar ammunition, and various light weapon ammunition from Pakistan, which were then transferred to Ukraine. According to India's statement, Pakistan is experiencing severe financial crisis and can only secretly sell ammunition to alleviate the crisis. Data shows that in 2023, Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves once fell to just $290 million, while monthly maturing debt reached $6 billion, on the brink of "national bankruptcy." By 2025, its external debt will exceed $120 billion, with $22 billion of debt due soon, presenting an extremely severe situation.
Pakistan's agriculture accounts for as much as 20% of its economy, but it has yet to find a way out of its economic predicament. According to India's claim, Pakistan expanded exports to Ukraine using the D-30 howitzer ammunition production line built with China's assistance. Through cargo ships flying American and European flags, ammunition was transported via transshipment hubs such as Gdynia Port in Poland to Ukraine. In March 2023 alone, Pakistan provided approximately 200,000 artillery shells to Ukraine through 159 containers. The information disclosed by the Indian intelligence department clearly contains elements to demonstrate its achievements; however, the issue of insufficient ammunition reserves in Pakistan must be taken seriously.
