Foreign Media: 2025 Humanoid Robot Shipment Rankings, China Occupies 90%, the US Far Behind

Global shipments of humanoid robots exceeded 14,500 units in 2025, with Chinese companies accounting for about 90% of the market share, demonstrating an overwhelming dominant position.

The shipment rankings of various companies are as follows: Unitech (China) with 5,500 units at the top, a significant increase from about 1,500 units last year, with the lowest model R1 priced at just $5,900, and the robotic dog priced at $1,600; Yibo Intelligent (China) with 5,168 units, closely following, with the lowest model priced at $14,500; Ubtech (China) with 1,000 units; Leju Robotics (China) with 500 units; Engine AI (China) with 400 units; Fuliye Intelligent (China) with 300 units.

Three U.S. companies - Figure AI, Agility Robotics, and Tesla each shipped about 150 units. Tesla's Optimus is expected to open public sales in 2027. It is worth noting that Figure AI's valuation has soared from $2.6 billion in 2024 to $39 billion.

The advantage of China lies in its deep supply chain system. The Yangtze River Delta has the most complete vertical integration industry chain for humanoid robots globally. China controls about 26% of the global actuator market (only 5% in the U.S.), as well as about 60% of key mineral and rare earth production. In 2025, China launched 21 new models, while only three were introduced in 2022.
