Israel attacked a processing plant of the "South Pars" gas field in Iran. This gas field is the largest in the world and is jointly developed by Iran and Qatar in the Persian Gulf.
According to Tasnim News Agency, Israel used two drones to attack an onshore processing plant that receives natural gas from the "South Pars" gas field in the Persian Gulf, causing an explosion and fire at the facility. The report states that the fire department has controlled the fire, and only one of the four processing units is still burning.
It is speculated that the fire caused a natural gas production platform with a daily output of 12 million cubic meters in the Persian Gulf to cease operations. The processing plant is located in the port of Kangan.
