US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz called in an interview with "Breitbart" that there should be no opportunity for Moscow and relevant countries to set new international standards. The official from Washington also reminded the United Nations and its related agencies that cooperation with the US is key.

Waltz believes that if the US chooses to stay out and not interfere, the international community would have already seen a new set of global standards — whether in the political field or the economic field.

"Therefore, we must make a choice: to simply stand by and let relevant countries, Russia, and all other countries set these international standards, or to actively intervene, hinder these actions, and protect our own companies' interests while practicing the 'America First' policy?"
