Russian military has activated an old reconnaissance aircraft to fly over the Belarusian airspace, preparing for a possible missile attack.

According to monitoring information, a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft is flying over Belarusian airspace, conducting reconnaissance on air defense radar stations in western Ukraine.

Again, the Russian Aerospace Forces have begun using Belarusian airspace for reconnaissance to prepare for future missile strikes.

Previously, Russian forces typically used relatively modern A-50 AWACS aircraft to perform such missions. However, due to some A-50s being destroyed or damaged, they are now forced to use outdated models from the 1960s.
