[Lavrov's Evaluation of the Three Women Leaders of the EU]

On April 11, after the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Almaty, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov answered media questions.

Question:

Recently, the EU's foreign affairs chief, Kelli Karas, admitted that anti-Russian sanctions have caused serious damage to the economies of Central Asian countries. Meanwhile, she requested that Central Asian countries endure and stand with the EU. After this press conference, you will meet with the foreign ministers of Central Asian countries. What advice would you give them regarding Kelli Karas' request for "endurance"?

Lavrov:

I suggest that Kelli Karas endure a bit longer in her position. It is much easier than asking the people of various countries to endure the EU's policies. I do not understand these politicians' actions. But what is most laughable is that Kelli Karas did not mention that the losses suffered by the people of Estonia and other EU countries are far more severe than the consequences of the EU's sanctions policy felt by Central Asian countries and other neighboring countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

There is another lady—Annalena Baerbock—who is about to end her term as Germany's foreign minister. She is known for many things, including her extreme ignorance. But the main issue is her lack of responsibility toward voters. Like Ursula von der Leyen, Annalena Baerbock and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told the German public that yes, we have significantly reduced the living standards of our own people, but voters must endure these hardships to "defeat" Russia. Ursula von der Leyen also expressed similar views when addressing the entire EU.

They do not consider their own voters but think only of how to ask other countries to "endure" just to punish Russia. This clearly shows how far the concept of the EU, which was once established to achieve economic prosperity for the citizens of related countries, has fallen.
