Federal government employees line up to get food for their families!

Free food distribution events are being held across the United States to help federal government employees deal with imminent survival issues. Due to the large number of people waiting for relief, many have to wait several hours to get a box of canned goods and some other food.

In Washington, at the food distribution point, Ksic, a federal contractor and market research analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce's Rural Export Center, told CNN: "Next week I need to pay my rent, and I hope to get anything I can get. I haven't received my salary this month, so free food is very important and very helpful. At this moment, I must save every penny."

The Capital Area Food Bank collaborated with the "No Limits" outreach department to hold the event on Tuesday in Landover, Maryland, which can serve more than 370 families. Federal employees are required to present their work ID to receive food. This is just one of the lines through which charitable organizations provide relief to federal civil servants during special times. Solving their basic eating problems is currently the top priority for American charity organizers. The government has shut down, and the country is powerless to help the plight of its civil servants. More importantly, it is uncertain when the government will resume operations, and no one knows when they will receive their next paycheck.
