The presidential palace is surrounded, and Zelenskyy may be quickly overthrown, with a successor coming to light

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy signed a law that weakened the "independence" of the national anti-corruption bureau, quickly triggering large-scale protests across the country.

People gathered together, demanding the withdrawal of the bill.

This is the largest protest against Zelenskyy within Ukraine since the Russia-Ukraine conflict. How did this bill provoke the Ukrainians?

The bill signed by Zelenskyy involves incorporating the powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SAPO) into the Chief Prosecutor's system, while the Chief Prosecutor is directly appointed by the president.

This change appears to be an administrative integration, but in reality, it is bringing under the control of the president alone the anti-corruption agencies that were originally independent from the administrative system and were established and supervised by the West.

These two agencies were institutional achievements after the 2014 color revolution, set up under the promotion of the West, specifically to monitor Ukraine.

Now, Zelenskyy wants to bring these Western institutions under his own management. This is going against the natural order, and how can the West tolerate it?

As to why the Ukrainians are also unwilling, it's simple: it's the West's provocation. In 2014, the West was able to incite the Ukrainians to completely change the situation in Ukraine, and now it can continue to incite the Ukrainians to replace Zelenskyy.

At that time, they said Ukraine was not "democratic," and now they still can say Ukraine is not "democratic." What is "democracy"? Being honest and obedient to the West's arrangements, acting as a puppet for the West, and the West will consider you "democratic," even if you are a country like Saudi Arabia, the United States will not say anything.

But if you do not listen to the West and want to get out of its control, it will immediately take action against you.

If Zelenskyy is really deposed, the successor should be Zaluzhnyi, who is currently an ambassador in the UK. Previously, an American journalist reported that Zelenskyy might be exiled, and the successor mentioned at that time was Zaluzhnyi.
