Russian security forces have seized "humanitarian aid" items in Moscow intended for the Russian military—shoe insoles equipped with explosive devices.

These insoles contain explosives equivalent to approximately 1.5 grams of TNT. Designed to detonate when Russian military personnel put them on or replace them, the devices aim to cause foot injuries among soldiers.
