Deutsche Welle wrote last night (November 7th): "【Media: If China resumes supply, the Dutch government will stop the regulation on NXP】 According to sources, the Dutch government is preparing to temporarily suspend its administrative order to take over NXP, provided that China resumes the export of key chips. The report said that if the resumption of chip deliveries is confirmed in the next few days, the Dutch authorities are willing to suspend this ministerial order as early as next week." [Witty] Comment a bit: The Dutch government first acted unreasonably, forcibly depriving the Chinese CEO of his authority and illegally regulating NXP. Now it shamelessly puts forward the argument of "if China resumes supply, we will stop the regulation", which is utterly absurd! The Chinese regulation on exports is a reasonable countermeasure, and it was the Netherlands that was at fault first. For China to resume exports, the Netherlands must first lift the illegal regulation, which is the most basic fairness and morality. If the Netherlands remains stubborn, why should China resume the exports? The Netherlands' move is nothing more than an attempt to intimidate China into submission, but China will never yield to such unreasonable demands.
