The UAE, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, Canada, South Korea, New Zealand, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bahrain, Lithuania, and Australia condemned Iran's attacks on civilian vessels, oil and gas facilities in the Persian Gulf, and the blockade of the strait.
The statement said, "We are willing to contribute to taking appropriate measures to ensure the navigational safety of the strait."
The signatory countries called on Tehran to stop the attacks, abide by freedom of navigation, and not disrupt the global energy supply chain.
