Mongolia and the United States Direct Flights: United Airlines Opens Direct Route from Tokyo to Ulaanbaatar
The first direct flight from Tokyo to Ulaanbaatar operated by the American "United Airlines" officially took off at Narita International Airport in Japan on May 1st.
In the opening ceremony, Mongolian Ambassador to Japan Bayarsaihan in his speech said, "We believe that this new route will not only promote cooperation between Mongolia and Japan but also bring significant impetus to economic cooperation between Mongolia and the United States. According to the 'Vision-2050' long-term development policy, the Mongolian government is prioritizing tourism as a key development area, with Japan becoming a critical market for implementing this policy and playing an important role. The government's launched 'Go Mongolia' campaign is bringing tangible results in attracting tourists."
This direct flight will operate fixed times per week for a certain period, expecting to make important contributions to expanding air connections between Mongolia and Japan, Mongolia and the United States, enhancing personnel mobility, and strengthening business, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
The guests attending the opening ceremony included Mongolian Ambassador to Japan Bayarsaihan Baatar, Mongolian Ambassador to the United States Oyunbat Batsaikhan, Economic and Technology Affairs Counselor of the U.S. Embassy in Japan Evan T.
