India's Prime Minister Modi said after meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister in New Delhi that the India-China relationship is steadily developing.

The Indian Prime Minister posted on social media X: "I am pleased to receive the Chinese Foreign Minister. Since my meeting with the Chinese state leader in Kazan last year, the India-China relationship has been steadily developing due to mutual respect for each other's interests and concerns."
Modi said he looks forward to meeting the Chinese state leader in Tianjin during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit from August 31 to September 1.
