China's smartphone exports to the U.S. fall to lowest level since 2011
The volume of mobile devices shipped from China to the U.S. fell to its lowest level since 2011 in April this year, highlighting how the threat of U.S. tariffs is hindering the flow of large goods between the world's two largest economies.
Detailed customs data released on Tuesday showed that last month China's smartphone exports to the U.S. plunged by 72% to just below $700 million, far exceeding the 21% drop in China's total exports to the U.S.
