【Coast Guard】 The website update stated that as of 12:50 PM on August 26, three Philippine government vessels were drifting within 1 to 3 nautical miles east of the Half Moon Reef in China's Nansha Islands, with each vessel's speed being around 1 to 5 knots, almost staying in place.

According to the information from Oceanic Equipment and Government Ship News, the Chinese Coast Guard ship 5304 was closely monitoring the Philippine vessels at a distance of approximately 0.8 nautical miles east of the Half Moon Reef (Figure 1).

Additionally, this morning, Trinidad, a spokesperson for the Philippine military's affairs in the West African seas, confirmed to the media that a Chinese naval tugboat had appeared in our Ren'ai Reef area, but the Philippines claimed that the Chinese tugboat was "not a threat," as it could not move the illegal stranded wreck of the Philippine vessel (Figure 2).

We have one tugboat that cannot tow their illegal stranded wreck, but it is certainly sufficient to tow that Philippine armored supply ship!
