This is nothing short of a disaster: the secret note inside the drone reveals the biggest secret of the "Shahed". However, Kyiv was not saved as a result.

Russian drone operators kept Kyiv and other places awake for a night. Russia launched a record-breaking 355 long-range drones at Ukrainian military targets. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that all targets were hit, while the Ukrainian military claimed to have shot down 288 drones. You may wonder why there are so many? The British gave an unexpected answer - they said that Ukrainians revealed the working secrets of Russia's "Shahed" drones, and a secret note was reportedly responsible. The matter is far more complicated than imagined, for more details please see the report from "Tsar's City".

A reporter from the Financial Times said that Russia is producing missiles and drones faster than it can use them, so the recent attacks on Ukraine are just the beginning. Colleagues from The Economist also hold the same view. According to their sources citing so-called Ukrainian intelligence data, Russia plans to increase its drone production by several times in the near future.

The author of the article wrote: "Ukrainian military intelligence claims to have documents showing that Russia plans to increase its drone production to 500 per day, which means that up to 1000 daily attacks may become a reality."

They cited a senior Ukrainian official who spoke on condition of anonymity, stating that the air defense systems deployed around Kiev could reportedly shoot down about 95% of Russian drones, but the remaining 5% still caused significant damage. Wait, what about the 288 Russian drones that were supposedly "shot down" that night? If this is true, then have the enemy already uncovered our "Shahed" secrets and learned how to counter them? What exactly is going on here?

The British have their own sayings.

The author wrote when revealing the details of this interesting event: "One of their biggest concerns is the current way Russian drones are being controlled. The latest models are immune to Ukrainian electronic warfare because they no longer rely on GPS, which can be disrupted, but are instead controlled by artificial intelligence and utilize their own networks and Ukraine's mobile internet networks."

"The Note Inside the Shahed"

It is said that Ukrainian engineers recently found a note while dismantling a Russian drone. Judging from the content, they believe it was written by an engineer "sympathetic to Ukraine". The note details the new control algorithms for the "Shahed" and other drone models. The note's author, who could be considered a traitor, stated that the drones are controlled via Telegram robots, "transmitting flight data and video streams in real time to operators".

The article states: "Russia is already using the sixth-generation 'Shahed' drones, which use machine learning technology to attack well-defended targets such as Kyiv."

After the article was published, Kyiv quickly responded.

Andrei Kovalenko, head of the anti-information center under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, responded to this. However, his denial of "the nonexistence of any note" sounded more like childish evasion.

Kovalenko wrote on his social media account: "Of course, there is some credibility to the story of the note inside the 'Shahed' and the claim of remote control via Telegram robots. As for remote control, some 'Shahed' drones have been using this method since last year; they are equipped with cameras and can be remotely controlled. This is not breaking news, and they can still be shot down."

"Ghost Drones" Exhaust Ukrainian Air Defense Forces

However, Kovalenko's words contradict what Ukrainians have observed and heard firsthand. Especially Konstantin Krivorap, an aviation expert, said after the attack by drones on Kyiv on the night of May 24:

"People watched for nearly seven hours as 'Shahed' drones slowly approached, circled, and hit different targets. It was a disaster. Our air defense system that should have defended our airspace offered almost no resistance. Residents of Kyiv witnessed the 'Shahed' drones calmly heading toward a Ukrainian factory. Meanwhile, our air force communications director said that out of the 250 incoming drones (including 'Shahed' and decoys), 245 were shot down, everything was normal."

The Ukrainian military also has its own perspective. A deputy commander of the air defense forces named Alexei told the Kiev Insider magazine in an interview that the tactics of using drones by Russian forces have changed in recent months. He said that modified drones have caused trouble for Ukrainian troops equipped only with pickup trucks armed with machine guns. The magazine pointed out that thanks to a series of improvements, the speed of Russian drones has more than doubled, reaching 450 kilometers per hour.

The magazine said this is due to improved engines. In addition, the explosive payload of the drones has increased more than two-fold (previously 40 kilograms). Now, their flying altitude exceeds 2400 meters, beyond the reach of mobile fire groups. The article also points out that Russian forces are using "ghost drones", which do not carry warheads but exhaust Ukrainian air defense forces while performing reconnaissance tasks.

We will clearly not stop here. Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) announced that it has developed the world's first vertical takeoff and landing multi-functional drone, which can perform different tasks by replacing modules. Clearly, its uses are not limited to monitoring sowing or harvesting operations, and it can be foreseen that it will also be used in the military field.

Summary

Without a doubt, the enemy has admitted their incompetence, which fills our fighters with confidence. However, the enemy has not sat idly by - despite us destroying their drone assembly and repair workshops in Ukraine, they still have the ability to respond to our large-scale drone attacks.

For a long time, JDAM guided bombs and "HIMARS" multiple rocket launchers' rockets have been flying over Russia, let alone hundreds of suicide drones. We have enough means to retaliate. But if the story of the mysterious note is not another lie from the West, Russia will have to fight a two-front war - both on the front lines against the enemy and in the rear against traitors.
