Trump claims Iran has accepted all conditions; Iran denies it will surrender uranium
Speaking in an interview with Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), Trump said: "They have fully accepted everything. This is an excellent agreement, a perfect agreement—they've agreed to absolutely everything."
He added that Iran even agreed to cease all support for Hezbollah and Hamas.
However, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bagheri, in a video statement, urged people not to believe Trump:
"None of the statements made by U.S. officials are true. I can clearly say: Iran's enriched uranium will never be handed over to any party."
He also emphasized that the issue of handing over Iran’s 60% enriched uranium to the United States has never been discussed:
"Iran’s territory is of such sacred importance to us, and so is this issue. Therefore, we completely reject such claims."
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Bagheri stated:
"Navigation through the Strait of Hormuz will proceed along routes determined by Iran... When Iran takes necessary measures to safeguard its national interests and rights, there will be no compromise. The media and public should not be swayed by the narrative pushed by the other side."
