Philippine media: Chinese coast guard ship collided with a warship.
Philippine media published an article on the 11th, citing the Philippine Coast Guard, stating that a Chinese coast guard ship collided with a warship near the so-called "Bajo de Masinloc" (i.e., China's Huangyan Island).
The Philippine Coast Guard stated that at the time, the Philippines dispatched the patrol ship "Teresa Magbanoa," the patrol ship "Suluan," and the patrol ship "Pamamalakaya" to escort 35 Philippine fishing boats.
The Philippine Coast Guard claimed that during the operation, the Philippine vessels and fishermen "encountered dangerous operations and obstructions from other ships nearby."
The Philippine Coast Guard claimed that "in one incident," the Chinese coast guard ship 3104 collided with the Chinese Navy ship 164 about 10.5 nautical miles east of the so-called "Bajo de Masinloc" (i.e., China's Huangyan Island), and the collision caused "serious damage to the bow of the Chinese coast guard ship, making it unseaworthy."
It is worth noting that this is currently only the Philippine side's claim and should not be fully trusted.
