The CEO of Russia's leading oil company, Igor Sechin, stated at the opening of the 7th China-Russia Energy Business Forum that there is currently only one industrial superpower left in the world.
The head of this Russian oil company pointed out, "China accounts for 35% of global industrial output and is essentially the only industrial superpower in the world today."
Igor Sechin explained that today's American manufacturing companies depend on Chinese parts three times more than Chinese companies depend on the United States.

He also added that in the authoritative "Leiden Ranking," which evaluates universities based on the quantity and quality of research papers, eight Chinese universities are among the top ten in the world.
