Iran and the United States have launched their first direct talks under the mediation of Pakistan.

The first round of talks between Iran and the United States adjourned after lasting two hours.

With Pakistan serving as intermediary, Field Marshal Munir was present. The venue was the Serena Hotel in Islamabad.

Pakistani officials are attempting to persuade both the U.S. and Iran to engage in direct negotiations; if things proceed smoothly, it's not impossible. Americans and Iranians are now in the same room.

As a result, the dialogue has entered an expert consultation phase, with members of Iran’s specialized committees making their appearance.

The U.S. delegation includes Vance, Witkoff, and Kushner; however, General Cooper, Commander of the Central Command, did not participate.
