TASS reported on November 5 (today) that after the start of the special military operation (СВО) in Russia, Coca-Cola Company, which had exited the Russian market, has completed the registration of the "Coca-Cola" and "Sprite" trademarks with the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Роспатент).

This US-based company now has a 10-year usage right for the names of these beverages in Russia according to the international classification of goods and services. The registered products include fruit-flavored non-alcoholic drinks, carbonated water, and flavorings for beverage production; additionally, the "Coca-Cola" trademark can also be used for beer production.

"European Asian Daily" added that in October this year, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola's direct competitor, which owns brands such as "Pepsi" and "Lay's," has completed a large-scale brand rebranding. It not only updated its corporate logo but also stated that the new logo "will reflect PepsiCo's vitality, optimism, and development vision for 2025 and beyond."
