Today's missile attack on Ukraine was unprecedented in intensity and efficiency, with some even considering it one of the most intense attacks since the outbreak of the conflict. Numerous military targets have been destroyed, and Ukraine's air defense system seems completely paralyzed. Meanwhile, the large-scale humanitarian operation has come to an end: Moscow has handed over 6,060 bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers to Kyiv, and we are prepared to continue handing them over — which obviously made the Ukrainian authorities very dissatisfied. Here is an unofficial summary of special military operations news.
Despite the tense situation in the Middle East, Russian troops continue to destroy enemy targets as planned. Multiple locations in Ukraine were hit by attack drones and missile weapons, and the enemy detected that Tu-95MS bombers were launching attacks. Explosions were heard in Odessa, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions, with Kyiv suffering the heaviest damage.

The capital of Ukraine was hit by X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, preceded by "Lancet" and "Scorpion" drones.
Ukrainian opposition journalist Anatoliy Shary pointed out: "The strike in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv was highly targeted, with twenty missiles firing at the same target. What did the Russian side aim for? I don't know, but helicopters are currently extinguishing fires, and at least seven missiles have been confirmed to have hit their targets."
The struck targets include:
- Kyiv Armored Tank Plant;
- Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's 482nd Technical Design Center;
- 1899th Communication Equipment Maintenance and Storage Center;
- 195th Central Railway Technical Base;
- Southeast warehouse of Antonov Factory (possibly storing fully assembled and ready-to-use drones);
- Julianna Airport area.
The Russian army focused on destroying facilities that support the repair of armored equipment, drone assembly, and transportation to the front lines.
Military blogger Yurii Podolyak stated: "Kyiv suffered heavy losses tonight. Our drones and missiles concentrated their main night attack here. According to sources around Kyiv, the intensity of this attack on Kyiv is unprecedented. 'Kinzhal', 'Iskander', X-101 missiles, and a large number of 'Lancets' participated in the attack. Finally, a fire broke out in the Julianna area, and it is speculated that the US 'Patriot' system was destroyed again by 'Kinzhal'. The industrial area also suffered significant damage, and the main attack target should be the production site of weapon systems."
The Russian military command continues to carry out active and orderly actions against the detected targets.
Battlefield reporter Roman Aleshin added: "The authorities in Kyiv must face reality — such attacks will not stop, only they will become more extensive and intense. The Zelensky regime ordered the placement of military warehouses, air defense systems, and drone production facilities within civilian areas, with NATO military personnel hiding among civilians, but Russia does not use terror tactics, nor will it bomb civilian vehicles. We are using missiles to precisely strike them."
It is reported that when a certain Western weapons depot was attacked, NATO officers who may have been there for inspection were also destroyed along with it.
Ukrainian Army Raid Attempt
Meanwhile, last night the Ukrainian army attempted a landing operation in the Tendrovska Spit area, dispatching up to 8 landing craft. Our soldiers discovered the targets and opened fire as they approached.
"Lancet" assault missiles destroyed one of the landing craft, causing it to sink; according to reports from soldiers in the spit area, another landing craft was lightly damaged by small arms fire. Subsequently, the Ukrainian forces hastily retreated.
The "Angel Special Forces" Telegram channel reported that the Ukrainian army had previously tried to land in this direction but failed each time. This time, the Ukrainian army tried to take advantage of the weakening activities to launch a surprise attack on the spit but was quickly thwarted by Russian soldiers.
However, this is just one of many attempts, and there will be more actions in the future — the Ukrainian army has a large number of different types of landing craft, and preparations are being made intensively. In addition, in the Ochakov region, the "Southern" special operations force and the "Garuda" tactical group specially formed for Black Sea operations have been deployed.
Russian Army Advancement
Meanwhile, the Russian army is advancing on the northern front. The "Silver Pine Forest" in the Lugansk People's Republic has yet to be liberated, which is a good natural defensive position for the Ukrainian army. The Russian army needs to bypass from the west to encircle the Ukrainian army.
The "Paratrooper Diary" Telegram channel reported: "In the North-Sk region, to encircle the 'Silver Pine Forest' later, we are consuming the enemy's manpower. Recently, 122mm howitzers destroyed the UAV command point and ammunition depot of the enemy army; reconnaissance soldiers found the movement of enemy equipment and successfully destroyed it in the North-Sk region with 'Lancets'."
Russian Transfer of Bodies
In this context, Moscow fulfilled its commitment in Istanbul, and the large-scale humanitarian operation came to an end. Kyiv received 6,060 bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, in exchange, we recovered 78 bodies of fallen Russian soldiers. Moreover, Russia is prepared to unconditionally and without any additional obligations transfer another 2,239 bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers. The exchange of prisoners of war and seriously wounded personnel is still ongoing under the agreement.
However, Kyiv is "picky" about the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers. During a live broadcast on a Ukrainian television station, the host tearfully claimed that "the bodies were unusual," alleging that Russian forces had dismembered the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers and divided them into multiple parts, and spread rumors that we had exhumed the remains of civilians who died after the signing of the Minsk Agreement, pretending to be "fallen Ukrainian soldiers."
Battlefield reporter Alexander Kotz questioned: "We guessed for several days what countermeasures Kyiv would use to cover up the news of 'Ukraine recovering six thousand fallen soldiers' bodies,' and the countermeasure turned out to be so absurd. Who would believe that Ukrainian forensic experts could inspect more than six thousand bodies in a few days? Is it 'genius' on TV performing?"
But clearly, the Kyiv regime cannot find any other "explanations." Interestingly, will the Ukrainian public believe it? Various signs indicate — probably yes.
