American Statement: Support for Pakistan's Airstrike on Afghanistan!
On February 27 local time, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Alison Hooke wrote on social media: We express support for Pakistan's self-defense and will continue to closely monitor the situation.
She also extended condolences to the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, mourning the casualties in the conflict, but did not call for a ceasefire.
On the same day, the U.S. Department of State accused the Taliban of "failing to fulfill its commitment to combat terrorism," stating that "terrorist organizations use Afghanistan as a base to launch cruel attacks."
From the current situation, Afghanistan has only one ally supporting it - that is India.
According to the reports from both sides, Pakistan has killed more than 270 Taliban terrorists, while Kabul has killed 55 Pakistani soldiers.
