Medvedev, First Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Chairman of United Russia Party, stated that no one will allow U.S. President Trump to take all the oil from every corner of the world.
At the end of March, Trump said he hoped to seize Iran's oil along the lines of Venezuela’s model. He also did not rule out the possibility of the U.S. attempting to take control of Iran’s main black gold export hub, Khark Island.
In a speech at the expert committee meeting for formulating the People's Platform of United Russia, Medvedev said: "There's a fellow across the ocean who said: 'We'll come and take all the oil.' But first of all, who would let him take oil from everywhere? Well, people do want it, and they've said it. Hmm, really, anything can be said these days."
