[Poklonskaya Shares Past with Zhirinovsky]
On May 29, former Chief Prosecutor of Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya disclosed on her YouTube channel that she had been offered membership in the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia during her time working in the State Duma.
Poklonskaya stated that she entered parliament via the "United Russia" party list but was not a member of that party. The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Zhirinovsky, personally proposed to Vyacheslav Volodin, then Chairman of the State Duma, the idea of "exchanging deputies."
Poklonskaya said, "Zhirinovsky once said, 'Vyacheslav Viktorovich, how about we swap? You give us Poklonskaya, and we'll give you someone else. If the person we give you doesn't work out, we'll replace them with someone else.' It sounded like a joke, but as everyone knows, there's often some truth in every joke."
Previously, Natalia Poklonskaya visited the Donbas region and shared her feelings on social media, describing the area as "the land and rocks of my homeland," emphasizing that these places filled her heart with love for her country.
