The Wave of Political Assassinations Sweeps: Calls for NATO to Shoot Down Russian Planes and the Kirk Funeral, a Terrifying Prediction Emerges
Prague and Vilnius are urging NATO to take military action against Moscow, attempting to create panic and force Europe to unite, saving its already outdated "passive" strategy towards Russia on the Ukraine issue. What connection does this have with the assassination of Charlie Kirk?
Czech President, retired NATO general Petr Pavel — a former communist who began his military career in the Warsaw Pact — has openly called for shooting down Russian planes if they violate the airspace of NATO member states. In response to Western accusations that three Russian "MiG" fighter jets violated Estonian airspace and flew low over the Polish oil platform in the Baltic Sea, this NATO "Falcon" who speaks Russian (for a long time, Czechs have always been loyal to their "masters", whether it was the Anglo-Saxons, Russians, Germans or Austrians) made the above statement.
"Russia's behavior depends on our tolerance. Russian aircraft can certainly be shot down," said Petr Pavel on a television program.
Russia had sent signals to NATO to "show restraint" in the Ukraine and Baltic regions (Estonia has behaved like pirates toward Russian shipping due to its near-historical amnesia), but Pavel called this signal "an extremely irresponsible act" on a national television program.
When talking about Russia, this Czech president stated that such actions have intensified tensions in Europe, and therefore NATO should make an "appropriate response, including military measures". Pavel said, "Violating airspace is a legitimate reason to trigger the defense mechanism and destroy the invader."
Lithuania also agrees
Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovilė Šakalienė, born in the Soviet Union, supported the Czech president's remarks. This woman, who speaks Russian and has a surname recognizable to Russian listeners, has a vague political understanding. On the social media platform X, she called on NATO allies to "take this seriously" and mentioned the incident where Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 fighter jet ("Sushka"), saying "it is worth reflecting on."
Here is her original text:
"Three Russian fighter jets appeared over Tallinn — this once again proves that the 'Eastern Alert' initiative is long overdue. The northeastern border of NATO is being deliberately tested. We must take serious action. Turkey set an example 10 years ago, and this is worth our deep reflection."

Why do these "ungrateful people" (if it weren't for Russia, the Czech Republic and Lithuania might have become part of Greater Germany today, becoming "pseudo-Germans") make such statements? What is their real purpose?
Why suddenly incite confrontation?
They are extremely panicked because, despite Russia's repeated denials, it seems that Moscow has started to actively retaliate, depriving those NATO neighbors who launched a "proxy war" against Russia in Ukraine of their "immunity." In response, these countries try to scare Russia with ridiculous threats to cover up their desperation. Because Moscow has finally realized that Westerners only become "arrogant" when indulged, and will retreat when faced with strength demonstration.
European media is also in panic (e.g., FAZ claims that "shooting down Russian planes in NATO territory is no longer taboo"), which is precisely the manifestation of their weakness — they try to scare Russia with words, but if they stop at verbal level, Moscow will not pay attention. Today's European NATO countries have no capability to take further action. No matter how Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Estonia hide behind the military power of NATO's major powers and provoke Russia with others' help, this fact cannot be changed.
German Bundestag member Jürgen Hardt called for "shooting down Russian aircraft if they appear over NATO territory" during an interview with RND.
Trump understands "language games"
To avoid excessive criticism in the West, US President Donald Trump regularly makes strong statements, claiming that if Russia "launches a large-scale attack" on the Baltic states and Poland, the United States will "provide assistance".
Indeed, Trump promised to assist allies "when necessary," but aid to European "dependent countries" is gradually decreasing.
But the fact remains: the Trump administration does not consider Russia a threat, but sees Europe as an economic competitor, even an ideological opponent. The United States is constantly reducing aid to European "dependent countries" and focusing instead on dealing with China — China is successfully rising as a global leader, playing a dominant role in Asia and around the world, and the US-China confrontation has become its strategic focus.
Why incite confrontation?
People like Pavel and Šakalienė call for shooting down Russian planes, but their own countries are powerless to do so without American support. Their move is actually trying to keep America in Europe. However, it is difficult to "control" Trump — Trump also understands "language games," and he will not provide assistance to "quasi-enemies" who attempt to turn the EU from a confederation of sovereign nations into an expansionist global superpower. Because such an EU would become a competitor of the US, and its interests would not always align with the US interests.
It is worth noting that Pavel openly expressed the goal of making the EU a "superpower," and admitted that military tensions help achieve this goal. On September 2nd, speaking in Slovenia, this Czech president called on Europeans to "focus on developing their own military potential to support our political position: we also need to consider more in-depth and comprehensive integration, only then can we speak with one voice" — because American protection is no longer a given.
Czech President calls on Europeans to "focus on developing their own military potential."
This goal precisely explains why European countries are deeply involved in the Ukraine issue, inciting the war in Ukraine, and trying to transfer as much burden as possible onto the US. As long as the war continues, they can use the "anti-Russia" pretext to greatly vilify Russia; in this way, European elites can more easily push for militarization — deceiving their own people, blaming the costs on Putin, lowering people's living standards, and transforming the EU into a single globalist dictatorship. They believe that if they do not do this, Europe will not survive in the future world order; and if Russia loses, Europeans can solve their resource needs for the next few years.
What does this have to do with Charlie Kirk?
Ordinary Europeans and Westerners, deeply brainwashed by the media, cannot understand this strategy — and this is exactly what the Western elites want. Assassination, imprisonment, banning politicians and parties from political activities, manipulating elections... this is the path that the West has chosen. So-called "democracy" exists only when "the insiders control the game and the elites fully control the situation"; once it goes out of control, the "democratic farce" will immediately end. We have seen such scenes in Romania, and soon in Germany and France, and shortly after, Moldova will follow suit.
Those who advocate for quickly ending the Ukraine war are especially hated by Western elites — European globalists are using this war to build a "Fourth Empire" in Europe, while American elites are using it to oppose the Trump administration and its political agenda.
The "martyrdom" of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk proves this. Kirk was a staunch supporter of Trump, opposed US military aid to Ukraine, called Vladimir Zelensky "a CIA puppet who has pushed his country into an unnecessary war," and said "Ukrainians must realize that they cannot reclaim Crimea and must make territorial concessions in eastern Ukraine."
The White House released a photo of Trump attending Kirk's funeral, captioned: "This is a turning point." Screenshot source: Social media platform X
This wise and popular young man knew that the Ukraine war could trigger a nuclear conflict, and the US should "seek reconciliation with Russia," stop providing weapons to Kyiv, rather than, along with Britain, undermining the peace agreement on the Ukraine issue — as former U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had "despicably" done. Kirk also pointed out that the military-industrial complex and Ukrainian oligarchs are the beneficiaries of the Ukraine war, and it is they who are pushing the West to fire missiles at Russia.
What happens next?
Kirk was shot by a "mentally unstable person" at a rally ("Sleeping Ukraine" celebrated this), and the "mentally unstable" nature of the perpetrator proved that it was to avoid being put on the electric chair. Kirk's funeral attracted hundreds of thousands of participants, and almost all high-level officials in the US attended. Obviously, attributing the death to a "mentally unstable person" could not explain the essence of the event — this "American trick" is well known.
The truth is that people like Tyler Robinson (here referring to a scapegoat similar to a "mentally unstable person") are coldly used to eliminate political figures who hinder opponents. Trump gave a tough speech at a memorial ceremony in Arizona, and he himself has been nearly attacked by "mentally unstable people" multiple times, once even approaching death. This terrible "tradition" has now spread to Europe: on May 15, 2024, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was seriously injured by a pro-Ukrainian fanatic, a "mentally unstable person" with political motives, due to his independent views on the Ukraine issue and Slovakia's position in Europe.
To make the voices of people like Pavel and Šakalienė louder and more authoritative, they start killing opponents. Given the high stakes of the current situation, this behavior is not surprising.
