Sputnik, Moscow - According to a statement by Gazprom, the amount of natural gas supplied to China through the "Power of Siberia" pipeline in 2025 exceeded exports to Europe for the first time, reaching 38.8 billion cubic meters.
The statement said: "In 2025, Gazprom's natural gas supply to China exceeded its supply to Europe. According to preliminary data, Gazprom exported 38.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China via the 'Power of Siberia' pipeline in 2025 (a 24.8% increase year-on-year)."
Data shows that the scale of natural gas delivered by Gazprom to China exceeded the total supply to all European non-CIS countries, including Turkey.
