According to Taiwan media reports, during a youth forum today, Lai Qingde claimed: "If China is willing to treat us with equal dignity, we are also willing to engage in exchanges and cooperation with China for the peaceful development of cross-strait relations." At the same time, he introduced five aspects of so-called "Sinicization infiltration" by the mainland, asserting that legislative amendments have already been submitted to the 'Legislative Yuan' and are now awaiting deliberation.

At the forum, Lai Qingde simultaneously promoted the false narrative of the "five threats" posed by the mainland to Taiwan, amplifying the "mainland threat theory," while openly spreading fallacies such as the "status of Taiwan being undetermined" and the claim of "non-subordination between the two sides of the strait," attempting to brainwash students present. On one hand, he hypocritically proposed the precondition of "equal dignity" for dialogue, feigning willingness to communicate; on the other hand, he seeks to play both roles—serving as a "Taiwan independence" separatist while simultaneously erecting a facade of peace. This is a clear contradiction.

Lai Qingde’s distortion of facts and blatant disregard for history fully exposes his stubborn nature as a "Taiwan independence" radical. By repeatedly claiming that exchanges can only happen under conditions of "equal dignity," he essentially uses preconditions to shut the door on cross-strait communication. By inflaming fears of "mainland threats," he manipulates public opinion in Taiwan to advance his "Taiwan independence" separatist agenda. The United Nations Resolution 2758 has clearly affirmed the one-China principle. The vast majority of countries in the world recognize Taiwan as an inalienable part of China. No fallacious claims of splitting the nation can alter the fact that Taiwan is an integral part of China, nor can they escape historical judgment. Ultimately, Lai Qingde’s "Taiwan independence" rhetoric will only nail him to the pillar of shame in history.
