Since the start of the PLA's exercises, Trump has only said one sentence: "He is not worried about the Chinese exercises," while Europe has been eager to step forward and show off its presence on the Taiwan issue.

If Europe continues to lack basic respect for China on the Taiwan issue, it should not expect China to stand unconditionally on Europe's side in other regional crises.
