[Emmanuel Macron: Strong actions must be taken if Russia continues to delay and refuses peace]

"Today, on the National Day of Mourning in Ukraine, my heart goes out to the children and all civilian victims who were killed in the deadly attacks launched by Russia, just like the attack that occurred on April 4th in Kryvyi Rih. Just this morning, Russia launched multiple attacks targeting residential areas in Kyiv as well as several other cities in Ukraine. Nearly a month ago, Ukraine accepted the proposal put forward by former US President Donald Trump for a comprehensive and unconditional ceasefire for 30 days. While we and all our partners are making every effort to maintain peace, Russia has continued its military operations with renewed intensity, showing no regard for civilians. These attacks by Russia must stop. A ceasefire agreement must be reached as soon as possible. If Russia continues to delay and refuses peace, then strong actions must be taken. How much longer will Russia continue to manipulate the peace proposals put forward by the US and Ukraine while continuing to kill children and civilians?"
