Australia Develops 155mm Howitzer Glide Guidance Kit: Imitating Russian Approach but Design Criticized as Redundant

An Australian arms manufacturer has developed a glide guidance kit for 155mm shells, which draws on the思路 of the Russian Army's glide guidance kit. The kit can be directly assembled on-site with 155mm shells, turning the shell into a small glide-guided bomb, carried and dropped by heavy drones. The arms manufacturer has not disclosed the performance parameters of this kit.

However, this design is somewhat impractical. Now, satellite-guided shells can be used for precise strikes by firing from cannons directly, making the modification of glide guidance kits and using drones for dropping somewhat cumbersome.
