Orbán: The EU is heading towards dissolution, the next seven-year budget will be the last

Russian State News Agency, Budapest - Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán stated that the EU is in a state of dissolution, and unless there are fundamental changes, the next seven-year budget will be the last.

Orbán said in a speech in Kecskemét: "I believe the EU is currently heading towards dissolution. If this continues, which is very likely, the EU will be recorded in history as a noble experiment with disappointing results."

He also said that the EU must now approve the new 2028-2035 budget.

He pointed out, "Even if we can pass the budget, we may have deep doubts about it. But if we can pass it, it will be the last seven-year budget of the EU. If this continues, I think the overall budget after 2035 will be completely impossible to pass."

Orbán previously stated that if the EU continues its economic policies, its days are numbered, it will collapse on its own, and even exiting would be meaningless. He said the deadline for fundamentally changing things is two or three years. He said that if the liberals in Brussels are not replaced by representatives of patriotic governments, Europe will immediately collapse, and it must follow the current approach in the United States and carry out a 'cleansing'."
