Ukraine and Russia's human rights departments collaborate to handle documents related to pensions for victims' families

Anya Lantaratova, Russia's Human Rights Commissioner, stated that human rights ombudsmen from both Ukraine and Russia have reached a consensus to assist their respective citizens in obtaining necessary documents, despite the absence of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The two sides will exchange certification documents and other relevant materials, such as paperwork required for survivors located in the other country to claim pension benefits following the death of a family member.
